18 juni beleeft het muziektheaterprogramma Thuis van de zangformatie Angels
haar reprise in Podium Mozaïek. De groep brengt een eerbetoon aan de veelkleurigheid
van Nederland, en de stad Amsterdam in het bijzonder. Actueler dan ooit! Op
theatrale wijze wordt muziek van over de hele wereld gedeeld met het publiek.<o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class="ecxmsonormal"><b><span style="font-size: 11pt;"><br></span></b></p>
<p class="ecxmsonormal"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Muzikaal
leider van Angels, Tatiana Lina, zelf afkomstig uit Sint Petersburg: “In Amsterdam
wonen mensen met wel 180 nationaliteiten, die minstens even zoveel talen
spreken. Hoe groot ook de verschillen in culturele en religieuze achtergronden,
iedereen probeert hier zijn thuis te creëren. We hebben een selectie gemaakt
van liederen in talen die in ons land worden – en werden – gesproken, met oog
voor de geschiedenis en de actualiteit." Van Moluks tot Pools, van Turks
tot Zuid-Afrikaans: met dit programma wil Angels een thuis worden voor al die

Amsterdamse ensemble Angels bestaat al 27 jaar, en telt 16 ervaren zangeressen.
Alle soorten muziek worden vertolkt, met een sterk accent op wereldmuziek. De
arrangementen zijn uitdagend - vaak wordt achtstemmig gezongen - en het
theatrale wordt niet geschuwd. Dat maakt de voorstellingen van Angels meer dan
alleen muzikaal interessant!<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="ecxmsonormal"><span style="font-size: 11pt;"><br></span></p>

internationaal cultuurpodium de ideale plek daarvoor. Ook voor mensen die al
