Beste Dansschool Zajednica,

 

In november vindt de vierde editie van Dancing on the Edge -hét festival voor hedendaags theater en dans uit het Midden-Oosten en Noord-Afrika- plaats.

 

Het festival presenteert indrukwekkende eigentijdse voorstellingen uit onder andere Palestina, Tunesië, Irak, Marokko, Iran, Syrië en Egypte, waarin de reflecties van kunstenaars op hun samenleving en leefwereld naar voren komen. Een eigenzinnige mix van theater- en dansvoorstellingen en multimedia installaties geven een beeld van de 'state of the art' in de regio.



Het festival vindt plaats in Amsterdam (6-9, 14-17 november), Den Haag (15-17 november), Utrecht (19-20 november) en Rotterdam (22-23 november), met extra voorstellingen in Enschede (8 november) en Groningen (23 november).

Dear Dansschool Zajednica ,

 

This November, the fourth edition of Dancing on the Edge -thé festival for contemporary theater and dance from the Middle East and North Africa- takes place.

 

The festival presents a number of contemporary pieces from Palestine, Tunisia, Iraq, Morocco, Iran, Syria, Egypt, and other countries, offering the reflections of artists from the area on their societies and the world around them. A heady mix of theater and dance performances as well as multimedia installations give festival visitors a glimpse of the state of the art in the region.

 

The festival takes place in Amsterdam (6-9, 14-17 November), The Hague (15-17 November), Utrecht (19-20 November), and Rotterdam (22-23 November), with extra performances in Enschede (8 November) and Groningen (23 November).
